Metodología. Se emplea una triangulación metodológica con técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas: observación participante; análisis de la programación y de los documentos publicados por el festival; análisis de contenido de los filmes galardonados y análisis de la base de datos imdb. Resultados y conclusiones. El festival se centra en los directores de fotografía, las obras audiovisuales de excelencia fotográfica y una audiencia preocupada por la calidad de la imagen. Para ello, premia la excelencia fotográfica, apuesta por la formación continua, el contacto entre creadores y construye una comunidad.
