From Punta Arenas, Chile we fly south to Antarctica spending two days at Union Glacier camp where we acclimatise to the cold, do some local ski training and complete final preparations for our ski expedition.

A Twin Otter aircraft takes us on a magical flight across the Antarctic plateau to 89o south where we set up camp and become accustomed to our surroundings and the 2400m altitude.
