Sat., April 4th 2015 Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain The {Re}HAPPENING is a creative set within the historic and inspirational EVENT INFORMATION: second campus of , known as Lake Eden. Every year, on the first Saturday in April, artists come together from various genres and disciplines to cross- GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS: provide admission from 3:00pm until 10:00pm pollinate and draw energy and inspiration from this historic and beautiful mountain setting. DINNER TICKETS: provide admission + cocktail hour + appetizers + dinner Now in its sixth year, the {Re}HAPPENING has organically grown and developed as an innovative art-based fundraising collaboration between the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center and the Media Arts Project. The {Re}HAPPENING is part art event, part fundraiser and part community GATES OPEN (3:00-10:00) - General Admission Tickets instigator. The event invites collaboration and experimentation among artists of all Performances and installations in the buildings and on the grounds of historic Black Mountain College disciplines. Bonds between the artists and the historically rich location are created and strengthened throughout the weekend. RETURN SHUTTLE (7:00, 9:00 & 10:00) About Black Mountain College Ticket holders can return to Asheville on any of these return trips Black Mountain College (1933-1957) existed for a mere 24 years, but in that short time this small experimental college produced a legacy that makes it central to American culture in multiple Appetizers + Dinner ways.
