SKMU to Introduce Five Self-financing Courses The Academic Council of SKM University at its meeting on 31/08/2017 approved a recommendation to start five new self-financing courses. These courses are Biotechnology, Physiotherapy, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), C Mathematics and D Ophthalmology. The next issue of the University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences will soon be published. Following the meeting, a notification inviting articles for it was issued. The responsibility of bringing out a separate journal for science was entrusted to the Dean, Faculty of Science. The Vice Chancellor gave clear instructions to the Publication Committee on the policy of zero tolerance of plagiarism. He appealed to the affluent industrialists, businessmen, social workers, and former students of Santhal Pargana to come forward in this noble venture by funding scholarship of Rs. 2.50 lakh for each student.
