Deutsche Eislauf-Union E.V DEUTSCHE EISLAUF-UNION E.V. Spannende Wettkämpfe bei der Nebelhorn Trophy erwartet In wenigen Tagen startet in Oberstdorf die 42. Nebelhorn Trophy. Top-Eiskunstläufer aus aller Welt kommen vom 23. bis 25. September ins Allgäu, um ihre neuen Programme erstmals vor Preisrichtern und dem Publikum zu testen. Diese Gelegenheit zum Saisonauftakt nutzen bekannte Läufer wie der zweifache EM-Dritte Kevin van der Perren aus Belgien, die WM-Vierten im Eistanz, Nathalie Pechalat/Fabian Bourzat (Frankreich), der WM-Vierte Michal Brezina aus Tschechien, die Finnin Kiira Korpi und die italienischen Eistänzer Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte Dazu steht die Nebelhorn Trophy natürlich ganz oben im Terminkalender für die besten deutschen Eiskunstläufer. Der zweifache deutsche Meister Peter Liebers (Berlin) vertritt die Gastgeber zusammen mit Franz Streubel (Oberstdorf). Bei den Damen geht die deutsche Meisterin Sarah Hecken (Mannheim) mit hohen Ambitionen an den Start. Sandy Hoffmann (Dresden) und die frühere Deutsche Meisterin Katharina Häcker (Mannheim) mussten dagegen kurzfristig wegen einer Fußverletzung bzw. Krankheit passen. Dem Saisondebüt entgegen fiebern auch die Eistänzer Nelli Zhiganshina/Alexander Gazsi (Oberstdorf) sowie das Paarlaufduo Maylin Hausch/Daniel Wende (Oberstdorf/Essen). Die zweifachen Paarlaufweltmeister Aljona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy (Chemnitz) werden wegen einer umgestellten Saisonplanung das erste Mal seit 2007 nicht bei der Nebelhorn Trophy antreten. Brezina, der schon ein komplettes Medaillenset mit Gold, Silber und Bronze aus Oberstdorf hat, ist der Top-Favorit bei den Herren. Seine stärksten Konkurrenten dürften van der Perren, Tatsuki Machida aus Japan, die Amerikaner Jason Wong und Armin Mahbanoozadeh sein. Peter Liebers und die zwei russischen Läufer Ivan Tretiakov und Konstantin Menshov hoffen ebenfalls auf vordere Plätze. Bei den Damen rechnen sich Korpi, Hecken, Junioren-Weltmeisterin Kanako Murakami und die schwedischen Schwestern Viktoria und Joshi Helgesson Medaillenchancen aus. Im Eistanz kommt es zum spannenden Aufeinandertreffen von Pechalat/Bourzat und Cappellini/Lanotte. Aber auch die Vize-Juniorenweltmeister Maia Shibutani/Alex Shibutani (USA), sowie das russische Duo Ekaterina Riazanova/Ilia Tkachenko wollen mitmischen. Vera Bazarova/ Juri Larionov aus Russland sind im Paarlauf-Wettkampf favorisiert. Ihre stärksten Konkurrenten werden Nicole della Monica/Yannick Kocon und Stefania Berton/Ondrej Hotarek aus Italien, Hausch/Wende sowie das neue kanadische Team Meagan Duhamel/Eric Radford sein. Insgesamt sind 23 Herren, 17 Damen, 10 Paarlaufpaare und 18 Eistanz-Duos aus 27 Ländern von Australien bis hin zu den USA gemeldet. PM 2/16. September 2010 .

The competition crowns U.S. champions in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at the senior and junior levels. Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov (RUS) take Pairs Short Program Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov of Russia took the Pairs Short Program with a new personal best score. Germany’s Aliona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy are sitting in second place and Vera Bazarova/Yuri Larionov of Russia finished third. Volosozhar/Trankov’s performance to “Waltz Masquerade” by Aram Khatchaturian featured a big triple twist, side by side triple toeloop and a throw triple loop. The reigning European and World Champions earned a level four for the twist, the death spiral, reverse lasso lift and footwork to slightly surpass their previous personal best and own record score with now 83.98 points. “Today we skated quite well. We were nervous as we skated towards the end, next to last and the tension was high. But we were able to deal with it and skated with a good mood. In the step sequence we wanted to give everything and to go for a seasons best score, and we did it, we broke our own record. We have improved the choreography”, Trankov told the press. The ISU European Figure Skating Championships return to Zagreb for the fourth time in history. The event was held in the Croatian capital in 1974, 1979 and 2008 before.151 skaters from 34 ISU members have been entered for the Championships. Following a decision of the ISU Congress in 2012, no Preliminary Rounds will be held. Instead, skaters/couples need to have obtained a minimum total technical score in Short Program and Free Skating in order to compete at the European Championships. Overview of the top contenders The Men’s event focuses on the battle of the veterans against the youngsters. 2006 Olympic Champion, two-time Olympic silver medalist and seven-time European Champion Evgeni Plushenko (RUS), 30, returns to the European Championships to defend his title. Plushenko’s toughest rival probably will be Grand Prix finalist Javier Fernandez (ESP), 21, who aims at a historic first ISU Championships medal in figure skating for Spain. Fernandez has the highest season best score of the European men with 258.62 points. Plushenko did not compete internationally yet this season. 2011 European Champion and reigning European bronze medalist Florent Amodio (FRA), 22, is looking for another medal, but competition will be tough with Michal Brezina (CZE), 22 as well as 2008 European Champion Tomas Verner (CZE), 26 and another veteran, three-time European Champion Brian Joubert (FRA), 27.

    Le Comité Départemental Olympique et Sportif de Seine-et-Marne (CDOS 77) est heureux de vous présenter, en ce début d’année 2015, son guide « 100% bleu ». Lancé en 2011, ce document réunit tous les seine et marnais sélectionnés en Equipe de France, soit pour les Championnats d’Europe ou du Monde, soit pour les variantes des Jeux Olympiques (comme les Jeux Méditerranéens, Jeux Mondiaux ou Jeux de la Francophonie). Notre objectif est simple : valoriser tous ceux qui ont porté haut les couleurs du 77, afin de mieux les connaître et de mieux les « supporter ». Dans ce « 100% bleu », les champions sont présentés ville par ville, avec des zooms sur les athlètes susceptibles d’être sélectionnés pour les prochains Jeux Olympiques 2016 (reconnaissable avec ce logo ). Par ailleurs un autre visuel permet d’identifier les athlètes qui ont reçu le Trophée de l’Espoir, récompense qui va fêter en 2015 son quart de siècle. Nous adressons nos félicitations aux champions, à leurs clubs, à leurs villes ainsi que nos encouragements pour 2015. Skate America is the first of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series 2013/2014. The athletes are competing for a prize money of US $ 180,000 per individual event of the Grand Prix. Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov (RUS) grab Pairs Short Program Reigning World Champions Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov of Russia skated to the lead in the Pairs Short Program, setting a new record score on the way. Canadians Kirsten Moore- Towers/Dylan Moscovitch and Russia’s Ksenia Stolbova/Fedor Klimov came second and third. Volosozhar/Trankov produced a triple twist, side by side triple toe, throw triple loop in their program to “Masquerade Waltz” by Aram Khatchaturian. The European Champions earned a level four for all five possible elements and set a new record and personal best score of 83.05 points. “We beat our personal best and we are happy with this start of the competition. It is great”, Trankov noted. “We don’t care about the world record, we care about our skating, in figure skating the record is not like in athletes or other sports, there are different judges, different score.
