Staff Report | @DEN_News The University Student Standards Board is looking for students to serve as members, according to an email sent by the Office of Student Stan- dards. The board is responsible for di- recting hearings for students accused of misconduct that might endanger the student’s enrollment. According to the application form, student board members would serve once or twice a month on average, de- pending on their availability and how many hearings are scheduled. If a stu- dent is not available for a hearing, a pool of approximately 30 other mem- bers of faculty, staff and students can fill the role, although each quorum of five members must have at least two students. Due to the sensitive nature of the hearings, students who wish to apply must agree to written ethical standards of confidentiality and objectivity.
