Membership Climbs To Over 200 Industry Leading Telecom, IT And Software Companies February 8, 2000 - TIBCO Software Inc. (Nasdaq: TIBX), a leading provider of real-time infrastructure software for e-business, announced today it has joined the fast-growing Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Forum, an international industry association dedicated to bringing together companies from all segments of the wireless industry value chain to ensure product interoperability and growth of the wireless market. Founded in 1997 with four members, the WAP Forum has grown to more than 200 members, representing over 95% of the global handset market, carriers with more than 100 million subscribers, leading infrastructure providers, software developers and other organisations providing solutions to the wireless industry.
