Toronto Water Infrastructure and Development Services

Toronto Water is responsible for providing services to Toronto residents and businesses including water treatment and supply (also to parts of York Region); wastewater collection and treatment (also to a portion of Peel Region); and stormwater management. The division maintains and services assets worth approximately $28 billion, some of which includes four water and four wastewater treatment plants, approximately 6,000 kilometers of watermains, 4,100 kilometers of sanitary sewers, 5 000 kilometers of storm sewers and 1,400 kilometers of combined sewers.
