Alexander Robinson Williams 5-38-0; KU-Patterson 6-22- lead at the half and increased 3-18-0; UT-Davis 8-50-0. their lead to 28-6 in the 4th capped off the drive on a two- 0. quarter. But UT battled back, scoring 15 unanswered points to cut the lead yard touchdown run, his 26th to 28-21 with 3:15 left in the game. Iowa State hung on by stopping UT career rushing TD. After forcing KU to punt on its first possession of the on downs on its final drive to secure the victory. Touchdowns by Darius second half, the Cyclone offense kept their foot on the gas, mounting a Reynolds and Alexander Robinson put the Cyclones in the driver seat in 16-play, 89-yard touchdown drive to go ahead 21-9 with 4:22 left in the the first half. It was Knott’s team-high fourth interception of the on a 20-yard scamper to put the Cyclones up 28-6 with 12:47 left in the season. Just three plays later, Shontrelle Johnson broke free on a 33-yard fourth quarter. Robinson now has 25 career rushing touchdowns to rank touchdown run to close out a 21-point third quarter for the Cyclones and eighth all-time in school history.
