SCOTT SCHRANK Vice President - Brand Performance & Support Hampton® Hotels SCOTT SCHRANK Vice President - Brand Performance & Support Hampton® Hotels Scott Schrank assumed his current position of vice president of Hampton brand performance and support for Hilton Hotels Corporation in November 2005. He is responsible for leading a team of more than 40 people, all unified by a goal of maximizing the hotel and owner support platform for more than 1,550 Hampton hotels, including facets such as product and service quality, sales, and revenue management. Scott began his career in 1983 as a food and beverage director with Holiday Inns, Inc (which became Promus Hotel Corporation in 1990, and subsequently was acquired by Hilton Hotels Corporation in late 1999) and held various positions during his long tenure with the company, including general manager of the Holiday Inn Texarkana hotel, general manager of an Embassy Suites hotel, senior director of organizational development and training, and most recently vice president of training. In 2001, Scott joined Golder Hospitality Management as the vice president of food and beverage and partner in GHM, and in 2002 he joined Intercontinental Hotels in the capacity of general manager and regional director of operations for hotels in St. Louis, Mo. and then in Pittsburgh, Pa. No stranger to Hilton Hotels Corporation, in 2005, Scott found his way back to his roots by joining the Hampton brand in the capacity of vice president of brand performance and support. Scott holds an Associate’s degree in culinary arts and hospitality management from Johnson & Wales University. Scott was born in Dayton, Ohio and is the proud father of four children and the grandfather of two. Scott is a rabid Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengal fan and loves to go on family trout fishing trips. Above all, Scott’s passion is to serve others and to demonstrate what a service oriented environment truly looks like, both internally and externally. Bollenbach was named co-chairman of Hilton Hotels Corporation in May 2004, and is also the company’s chief executive officer, a position he has held since joining Hilton in February 1996. Since joining Hilton, Bollenbach has overseen a complete transformation of the company including: the formation of a sales and marketing alliance between Hilton Hotels and Hilton International (owner of the Hilton brand outside the United States), which reunited the brands for the first time in 34 years; the acquisition of Bally Entertainment, which made Hilton the world’s largest gaming company, and the acquisition of some $1.5 billion of hotel real estate in markets with high barriers to entry.     Dear Fellow Shareholders: As we approach the end of the year, and having just released our results for the third quarter 2000, this is an appropriate time to describe the progress we are making against each of the three growth objectives we outlined early in the year. Full details of our financial results for the three- month and nine-month periods ending September 30, 2000 can be found in the press release we issued October 25 (and which can also be accessed through our investor relations webpage via www.Hilton.com), while additional detail will be outlined in the 10-Q which was filed November 13th. Maximize return on assets One of our priorities for 2000 has been to maximize the return on the assets we own. That really means driving revenue-per-available-room (RevPAR) increases and operating at high margins. We are doing exceptionally well here. RevPAR at our comparable U.S. owned hotels was up over 11 percent in the third quarter. When you combine our owned hotels with the ones we operate for third parties, the numbers are every bit as strong. Across our owned-or-operated system, comparable RevPAR was up over 10 percent. And at the Hilton owned-or-operated properties, it was up well over 13 percent. The cities that have been the strongest performers all year continue to do extremely well: New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Honolulu and Boston, among others. The New York Hilton – where we completed an $85 million renovation – is showing excellent results, while our new hotel at Logan Airport in Boston is consistently exceeding our forecasts.
