2010 SPRING FOOTBALL PROSPECTUS SENIOR RB DONALD BUCKRAM 2009 DOAK WALKER AWARD SEMIFINALIST 2009 FOOTBALL SEASON HIGHLIGHTS PRECORD-BREAKING SEASON BY BUCKRAM Donald Buckram rushed for 1,594 yards to break Fred Wendt’s single- season school record of 1,546 yards, set in 1948. PBUCKRAM REWRITES THE RECORD BOOKS Donald Buckram set the school standard with eight 100-yard rushing games in a season, and tied Wendt’s record for 200-yard games in a season with three. PBUCKRAM RANKS AMONG NATION’S BEST Donald Buckram was ranked third in the country in scoring (10.5 ppg), fourth in rushing yards per game (132.8) and 11th in all-purpose yards per game (170.6 ypg). Buckram and Stanford’s Toby Gerhart were the only players in the nation to rush for 200 yards in three separate games.
