Michael Lamb of BOB FM Member Profile: Michael Lamb of BOB FM . What exactly do you do at your company? I host the morning show “BOB’s Breakfast” from 6 – 10AM every weekday morning. How did you get the idea for your business? I invented the radio with the help of my good friend Guglielmo Marconi in the late 1800’s. How long have you been at this job? I’ve been working in this exact building for just over six years. Started here as a weekend board op in October, 2010. What are the goals for your business? To be the number one station in the market; to be the primary radio station that people in Westman rely on, turn to, and ideally have on in their businesses. What is your favorite part of your job? Connecting with the people of Westman. To know that every single day, I’m a part of thousands of people’s lives. Connecting with people both on air and through numerous public events is extremely rewarding. What is the most challenging part of your job? Finding the right balance to create an informative, exciting, entertaining, engaging, and localized radio show every weekday morning. What is a product or service your company provides that people might not know about? We are a proud member of the iHeart Radio Network. Through this, we offer a free app which is available on your smart phone. It provides access to hundreds of channels and stations across Canada. Best of all, it’s free! Just type “iHeart Radio” into your app store. Bell Media Radio GP 2940 Victoria Ave 204-728-1150 www.kx96online.com .
