UoP Final year Film, T.V. and Media Students Present: No.6 is very happy to welcome back University of Portsmouth third year students from a variety of film, tv and media studies courses to present their final pieces of film work to the public. After their three years of hard graft this is sure to be a historic event, our chance to see young talent revealed before these gifted young film-makers set their sails and embark on their film- making journey into the future. The event is on Friday 18 May.

Portsmouth Festivities 15-24 June We are pleased to be taking part in the Portsmouth Festivities 2018 with the screening of two films. The theme this year is FREEDOM, marking the centenary of women’s suffrage and the 100th birthday of Nelson Mandela. On 21 June we will be showing the 1962 classic by Alan Sillitoie:The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner starring Tom Courtenay & Michael Redgrave followed on Saturday 23 June by Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom starring Idris Elba and Naomie Harris.
