WELCOME TO LONGWOOD • When Longwood University hired Rebecca Tillett to lead the women’s basketball program this past April, the first- year head coach spoke about wanting to build a culture. Along with her coaching staff, Tillett has begun the pro- cess of developing that culture with the latest chapter being a three-player recruiting class to begin competing for the Lancers in the 2019-20 season. • Tillett unveiled a signing class of Anne-Hamilton LeRoy, Tayonna Robertson and Adriana Shipp that join the Lancers after signing a National Letter of Intent (NLI) in the early signing period to compete for the Lancers next season.

ANTONENKO’S RECORD-SETTING DAY • Junior college transfer Kristina Antonenko enjoyed a record-setting day against N.C. Central, as the junior poured in 33 points on 14-of-20 field goals. • Antonenko’s performance against the Eagles matched the 33 points that Becky Fernandes finished with during the 2009 season against NJIT, tying Longwood’s Divi- sion I single game scoring record. In addition, it was the first time a Lancer had hit the 30-point plateau since Crystal Smith scored 32 against Campbell in Long- wood’s debut season in the Big South in 2012-13. • The 33-point outburst from the Moscow, Russia product marks the most from any Lancer in the Big South era, as she becomes the league’s first player this season to finish a game with 30-plus.

LONGWOOD WOMEN TABBED 10TH • In a poll of Big South head coaches, Longwood wom- en’s basketball was picked 10th in the Big South pre- season poll. • Since joining the conference, Longwood has finished above its predicted order of finish one time in its six seasons in the league. That came in the 2012-13 cam- paign where the Lancers were picked 11th and finished seventh en route to securing a spot into the Big South Championship game.
