In der Briefmarkenserie Mineralien und Fossilien präsentieren wir den Aragonit, eine Modifikation des Kalziumkarbonats. In Slowenien kommt Aragonit in der Umgebung von Idrija vor. Die Briefmarke erscheint als Kleinbogen mit 10 Briefmarken.
In der Briefmarkenserie Tourismus zeigen wir den Mangart, einen 2.678 Meter hohen Gipfel in den Julischen Alpen, der an der Grenze zwischen Slowenien und Italien liegt, und die Alpenpflanze Kriechende Nelkenwurz, die an seinen Hängen wächst.
