Today, the University Thought - Publication in Natural Sciences is an international, peer reviewed, Open Access journal, published semi annually in the online and print version by the University of Priština, temporarily settled in Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia. The Journal publishes articles on all aspects of research in Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Information technologies, Mathematics and Physics in the form of original papers, short communications and reviews (invited) by authors from the country and abroad. The University Thought - Publication in Natural Sciences serves as an interdisciplinary forum covering a wide range of topics for a truly international audience. Journal is endeavor of the University of Priština to acquaint the scientific world with its achievements and wish to affirm the intellectual potential and natural resources of own region. Our aim is to put forward attitude of principle that science is universal and we invite all scientists to cooperate wherever their scope of research may be. Review Paper THE CIRCADIAN CLOCK AND HUMAN ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE BILJANA VITOŠEVIĆ1* 1Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Leposavić, University of Priština, Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia ABSTRACT The importance of circadian clock in managing of key muscle physiological processes, and therefore the impact on athletic performance is well studied. Specifically chronobiology examines the mechanisms of the biological clock and the consequences of disrupting its rhythm. Although a body of literature indicates that the peak performance of notable indicators of athletic performance exerts mainly in the afternoon and evening hours which is attributed to increased temperature of the body, certain variables such as vigilance, alertness and cognitive domains can influence the shift of the peak performance during the day. In addition, athletes face issues of desynchronization of their circadian rhythm during frequent transcontinental travels, since their performance is reduced and the adjustment of the biological clock requires some recommendations in the training process and behavioral approach. This review focuses on some current studies on endogenous and exogenous factors which affect the circadian rhythm in order to achieve better sport results, evaluation of the impact chronotype through chronometric tests and revising more valuable determinants of sport performance, as well as the application of new mathematical models in individual treatment of recovery of athletes in the phase of resynchronization. A variety of collecting methods was used, including netting, light attracting, light trapping and pheromone trapping. The specimens were identified by the currently available pictorial sources and determination keys. Many were also sent to specialists for confirmation or identification. The majority of the data was from Kanawha County, reflecting the area of more intensive sampling effort by the senior author. It is represented in Chile by two described species, both from the Atacama Desert. New information Iridopsis socoromaensis sp. n. (Lepidoptera: Geometridae: Ennominae: Boarmiini) is described and illustrated from the western slopes of the Andes of northern Chile. Its larvae were found feeding on leaves of the Chilean endemic shrub Dalea pennellii (J.F. Macbr.) J.F. Macbr. var. chilensis Barneby (Fabaceae). Morphological differences of I. socoromaensis sp. n. with the two species of the genus previously known from Chile are discussed. A DNA barcode fragment of I. socoromaensis sp. n. showed 93.7-94.3% similarity with the Nearctic I. sanctissima (Barnes & McDunnough, 1917). However, the morphology of the genitalia suggests that these two species are distantly related. The © Vargas H. INTRODUCTION The fauna of noctuoid moths (the families Erebidae and Noctuidae) of Kazakhstan is still poorly studied. Only the fauna of West Kazakhstan has been studied satisfactorily (Gorbunov 2011). On the faunas of other parts of the country, only fragmentary data are published (Lederer, 1853; 1855; Aibasov & Zhdanko 1982; Hacker & Peks 1990; Lehmann et al. 1998; Benedek & Bálint 2009; 2013; Korb 2013). Dot maps for three groups of Cutworm Moths (Family Noctuidae): the subfamily Plusiinae (Lafontaine and Poole, 1991), the subfamilies Cuculliinae and Psaphidinae (Poole, 1995), and ABSTRACT the tribe Noctuini (subfamily Noctuinae) (Lafontaine, 1998) have also been published. Most fascicles in The Moths of The Montane Cordillera Ecozone of British Columbia America North of Mexico series (e.g. Ferguson, 1971-72, and southwestern Alberta supports a diverse fauna with over 1978; Franclemont, 1973; Hodges, 1971, 1986; Lafontaine, 2,000 species of butterflies and moths (Order Lepidoptera) 1987; Munroe, 1972-74, 1976; Neunzig, 1986, 1990, 1997) recorded to date.

The following six species are treated: Agonopterix scopariella (Heinemann, 1870), A. conciliatella (Rebel, 1892), A. vendettella (Chrétien, 1908) (new to Madeira), A. perezi Walsingham, 1908, Depressaria marcella Rebel, 1901 (new to Madeira and the Azores), and D. halophilella Chrétien, 1908. The latter replaces Depressaria ultimella Stainton, 1849 in the list of Lepidoptera found in Madeira. Depressaria iliensis Rebel, 1936 is a synonym of Agonopterix vendettella (Chrétien, 1908) (syn. nov.). Depressaria halophilella is new to the Canary Islands. We provide brief notes on each of the species and give short diagnoses for correctly identifying them, and we discuss previous misidentifications of Madeiran Depressariinae. The total number of confirmed Irish species now stands at 1480, an addition of 68 since Bond et al. (2006). Taxonomic arrangement As a result of recent systematic research, it has been necessary to replace the arrangement familiar to British and Irish Lepidopterists by the Fauna Europaea [FE] system used by Karsholt 60 Bulletin of the Irish Biogeographical Society No. 36 (2012) and Razowski, which is widely used in continental Europe.
