Media Tool The Media Tool has been completely redesigned. Now, in addition to viewing media files, you can view the projects, sequences, and master clips with which they’re associated in a variety of combinations. For example, you can display all media files contained in two projects, display only the files that are shared—and then display only those that are not shared. When you are working in the Media Tool, you can perform all media management tasks, such as recapturing, purging, defragmenting, copying, moving, and deleting. For example, if you want to delete unused media files, you can use the Media Tool to find exactly which sequences, if any, are sharing them, and then delete just the unused media. You can also use the Media Tool to determine if a clip has already been used in a sequence, so that you can avoid using the same clip twice.
