Multiplayer this game can wirelessly communicate with other Nintedo DS systems to play multiplayer. You can play a multi-card game or play the same card. There is no difference in gameplay depending on one card or multiple cards to play. With a wireless connection, you can play with up to 8 players at a time. When you die in a multiplayer game, you send to the bottom screen to shoot missiles at other players still alive. -

Eliška Šestáková Study Programme: Informatics Study Branch: Web and Software Engineering Department: Department of Software Engineering Validity: Until the end of summer semester 2019/20 Instructions The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a prototype of 2D turn-based strategy game that is inspired by the game Advance Wars. In single-player mode, the strategy of the computer will be an AI that was trained to play through self-play, using a minimum of human input. Requirements: - It should be implemented as a desktop application using the C++ language. - The play must support a mode for several players and playing against artificial intelligence (AI). - Provide at least 4 various pre-created game levels. Research part: - The AI component in the requirements above constitutes the research part. - Evaluate different algorithms for developing the AI strategy. - Design a strategy that relies mostly on self-play and uses a minimum of human input. - Implement the strategy within the game. - Evaluate the quality of the game played by the AI by evaluating its success rate against players of varying skills. I declare that my thesis consists of 66,515 words. 2 Abstract The aim of this qualitative research study was to develop an understanding of the lived experiences of game designers from the particular vantage point of intersomatic awareness. Intersomatic awareness is an interbodily awareness based on the premise that the body of another is always understood through the body of the self. While the term intersomatics is related to intersubjectivity, intercoordination, and intercorporeality it has a specific focus on somatic relationships between lived bodies. This research examined game designers’ body-oriented design practices, finding that within design work the body is a ground of experiential knowledge which is largely untapped. To access this knowledge a hermeneutic methodology was employed. The thesis presents a functional model of intersomatic awareness comprised of four dimensions: sensory ordering, sensory intensification, somatic imprinting, and somatic marking. -
