Based on results of 2,138 completed surveys, Erdos & Morgan estimated there were 660,871 opinion leaders nationwide in the following sectors: executive and congressional branches of the government, state and local government, executives of trade and professional organizations, and persons from the following occupational groups: business, communications and media, education, healthcare, law and science. Opinion leaders, for the purpose of this study, are defined as those individuals whose influence on business, social, political, environmental and educational issues far exceed their numbers in the population. They exercise far-reaching and powerful influences on the opinions of their fellow Americans by framing and defining the issues that will largely determine the future course of the nation. Please note: The 2019 Erdos & Morgan Opinion Leaders Study also provides data on viewing habits (coverage) for groups that influence specific issues in the private sector. These issues include: business issues; environmental & energy issues; health, education & human services issues; law & legal issues; agricultural issues; defense & national security issues; science & technology issues; economic & financial issues; the arts & media issues; legislative/government policy issues; and trade/global economic issues. For example, viewership data among individuals who influence arts or military and defense spending is available for the PBS programs included in the study as well as other news and public affairs print and television media. .

`1 | P a g e "The History of NBC New York Television Studios, 1935-1956" Volume 1 of 2 By Bobby Ellerbee And Eyes Of A Generation.com Preface and Acknowledgement This is the first known chronological listing that details the conversions of NBC’s Radio City studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Also included in this exclusive presentation by and for Eyes Of A Generation, are the outside performance theaters and their conversion dates to NBC Television theaters. This compilation gives us the clearest and most concise guide yet to the production and technical operations of television’s early days and the network that pioneered so much of the new medium. As you will see, many shows were done as “remotes” in NBC radio studios with in-house mobile camera units, and predate the official conversion date which signifies the studio now has its own control room and stage lighting. Eyes Of A Generation, would like to offer a huge thanks to the many past and present NBC people that helped, but most especially to Frank Merklein (NBC 1947-1961) Joel Spector (NBC 1965-2001), Dennis Degan (NBC 2003 to present), historian David Schwartz (GSN) and Gady Reinhold (CBS 1966 to present), for their first hand knowledge, photos and help. • Annual Report 2017
fa What is CAPI? Corruption costs taxpayers trillions of dollars a year worldwide that could be better spent on social, health, education, and other programs to improve the lives of citizens worldwide. Despite the pervasiveness of corruption, finding, stopping and preventing it is daunting. There are anti-corruption offices in place across the country and globe, but the system overall is relatively young and largely decentralized. Individual corruption-fighting offices are often disparate and adrift, unconnected to peers and experts in other jurisdictions. These offices face common challenges and can benefit greatly from active collaboration and shared best practices. In 2013, the New York City Department of Investigation partnered with Columbia Law School to create the Center for the Advancement of Public Integrity (CAPI). Over the past nearly five years, CAPI has grown into a platform through which public integrity professionals can connect with each other and provides the resources to help them succeed. Executive Director Jennifer Rodgers CAPI is a nonprofit resource center dedicated to bolstering anti-corruption research, promoting key tools and best practices, and cultivating a professional network to share new developments and lessons learned, both online and through live events. Unique in its municipal focus, CAPI’s work emphasizes practical lessons and practitioner needs. Through this network, in which anti-corruption practitioners and agencies can share their insights, methods, and successes, CAPI seeks to support the fight against corruption in all its forms. We strive to create an environment where members of our community learn from one another to better promote public integrity and good governance.
