Ever since she debuted in 1941, Wonder Woman has been established as one of the most familiar feminist icons today. However, one of the issues that this paper contends is that this her categorization as a feminist icon is incorrect. This question of her status is important when taking into account the recent position that Wonder Woman has taken in the DC Comics Universe. Ever since it had been decided to reset the status quo of the characters from DC Comics in 2011, the character has suffered the most from the changes made. No longer can Wonder Woman be seen as the same independent heroine as before, instead she has become diminished in status and stature thanks to the revamp on her character. This paper analyzes and discusses the diminishing power base of the character of Wonder Woman, shifting the dynamic of being a representative of feminism to essentially becoming a run-of-the-mill heroine. iafor The International Academic Forum www.iafor.org One of comics’ oldest and most enduring characters, Wonder Woman, celebrates her seventy fifth anniversary next year. Ak sa nájdu vedúce osobnosti, často sa ich pomenovania duplikujú a tým len mätú bežné obyvateľstvo, ktoré ťažko učuje, kto stojí na čele tohto nadnárodného celku. Inštitúcie a ich podriadené celky, vykonávajú viac koordinačné a poradné úlohy, ako svoj skutočný potencíal spravovania Európskych záležitostí. Nový model navrhuje zmenu ustanovenia Európskej Únie na federálnu úniu s dvojkomorovým parlamentým systémom. Za dolnú komoru parlamentu sa navrhuje ponechať Európsky Parlament s jeho priamo volenými poslancami. Ako doplňujúci orgán je ustanovená druhá komora parlamentu, Rada Ministrov, ktorej je uznané rovnocenné postavenie. Doplňujúcim celkom je výsadne postavenie Európskej Komisie predkladať návrhy, avšak samotná komisia je modifikovaná len na administratíny orgán, bez monopolu na tvorbu legislatívy. Buccellato's writing makes a major improvement over the mediocre "Year Four" story arc where the Injustice Regime and Insurgency were forced to temporarily team up against the Olympian Gods. The series has never been as strong as it was in the first two "years" when the book was being helmed by Tom Taylor, but Buccellato does a strong job tying up the last loose ends and setting the state for the Year Five finale which directly leads into the events of the video game's story mode. Year Five is mostly the year of the villains as the numerous baddies under Superman's thumb in the events of the game are brought into the fold.
