Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE), one of the premiere Institutes in and around Pune, operates with a vision to serve the Society, Industry and all its Stakeholders through Value Added Quality Education. PCCoE is functioning proactively to create aesthetically sensitive, socially committed and technologically competent Engineers and Management Professionals with major focus on Academic Excellence, Innovation & Research, Professional Competence and Social Commitment. Today, we are living in a global village owing to impact of globalization, liberalization and privatization. With our Four Pillar Philosophy, we are constantly making endeavors to ensure that our students scale new heights by developing synergy between academic knowledge, technical skills, personality traits and high moral values along with sensitivity and capability to serve the masses, Society and Nation at large. We are working hard to ensure that our Graduates, in this era of globalization, grow in new dimensions to seamlessly fit into the global fabric of work and technology and get well equipped to address the challenges posed at Global level. Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), with its mammoth visioning, has developed a long-term technology perspective for the Country- "Technology Vision 2035" and put forth the needs and expectations of Indians in 2035 in the form of 12 Prerogatives. We strongly believe that "Technology Vision 2035" can be accomplished only through dedicated Capacity building mission and the integration of Technology in everyday life. Our budding technocrats need to realize the vital role of technology in the economic progress of Nation and globally develop technology strengths for well-rounded development of Society. It is imperative that every youth blossoms to his / her full potential and that the potential is fully tapped for the benefit of the Nation. The strategic roadmap of PCCoE focuses on addressing challenges of Technology Vision 2035 rightly identified by TIFAC and also work towards the 10 grand challenges that we, as a nation, may confront to develop technological process. We aim at developing technocrats who are "Solution Providers" and "Engineers of Change". These engineers, with the right blend of technical expertise, innovative mindset and concern for well-being of masses at large, will provide Technological Solutions that we all are seeking for and transform "Vision 2035" into reality. On this platform, I make an appeal to all my dear Students and dedicated Faculty to work with highest level of involvement and commitment towards these identified waylaid challenges in the run up to 2035 and lets together bring this Vision to fruition. I also invite all Industry Professionals and other valuable Stakeholders to join hands with PCCoE to align our efforts towards making our country the Super Power in the times to come. Guest lecture on “Cloud Computing” Certification Test conducted by Dell-EMC Ÿ Guest lecture titles “Performance Improvement“ was delivered by Mrs. Meera Natrajan for all FE students. Ÿ Guest lecture of Ankana Swammy (Manager, Pune region, Indian Overseas Bank) on 29th December 2016 for students for FE students. Ÿ Guest lecture on “Cloud Computing” by Mr. Shray Madan (Program Manager, External Research & Academic Alliances at Dell EMC) for T.E and B.E (I.T) students on 28th December 2016 coordinated by Dr. Nilesh Uke, Ms. Bhakti Ratnaparkhi. Ÿ Guest lecture titled “Financial Planning and managements” was delivered by Mr. Santosh Gosavi on 18th April 2017 for all FE faculties. Ÿ A FDP on “Case Study as a Teaching Methodology” was organized by MBA Department on 13th April 2017. The speaker for the event was Mr. Ketan Gandhi, President & CEO of Kg Guruji Consulting & Services. The event was coordinated was Dr.Anuja Johri. Ÿ A Guest Lecture titled “Best Practices in IR- Procedure for Disciplinary action and Principles of Natural Justice” (MBA dept.) was delivered by Prof. S.V. Hajeri on Saturday 25th March 2017 for MBA students. Ÿ Add-On Course on “Steam Engineering and Energy Conservation” was conducted by for Mechanical Students by Dr. Anindita Roy, Mrs. G.V. Phadtare & Mr. A. N. More. Resource person for the course was Mr. Raghu Nair (Forbes Marshal Pvt. Ltd. Pimpri).
