Sound the Sirens! 's(R) "RENO 911!" Returns for a Sixth Season With Two New Cast Members Premiering Wednesday, April 1 at 10:30 p.m.

NEW YORK, March 9, 2009 -- The cops are back on the RENO beat as "RENO 911!" returns for a sixth season to debut Wednesday, April 1 at 10:30 p.m. The half-hour comedy is created by and stars , Kerri Kenney-Silver and as cops on the beat in Reno, Nevada. The 14-episode series is a Jersey Television production in association with COMEDY CENTRAL. This hilarious take on the traditional cop drama is a character-driven comedy with soap opera-like twists and turns.

This season, two new cops join the "RENO 911!" squad: Sergeant Jack Declan (Ian Roberts) the macho, by-the-book cop's cop and Deputy Franky Rizzo (Jo Lo Truglio), a big city cop and the opposite of Declan who not only doesn't play by the rules, he hasn't even read the rules. Ian Roberts film credits include "Step Brothers," "RENO 911!: Miami," "Talladega Nights" and "Anchorman." Roberts has had guest roles on "" and was a founding member of COMEDY CENTRAL's "." Joe Lo Truglio is best known for film roles in "Pineapple Express," "" and "RENO 911!: Miami" and was one of the founding members of "The State" comedy troupe on MTV.

The debut episode with guest star Jonah Hill resolves last season's cliffhanger as to which Reno deputies survived the horrible accident at the taco stand. Future episodes feature the deputies getting a free vacation to Thailand, Lt. Dangle hosting a murder mystery dinner and the deputies hiring Reno's finest director to help them make a new recruitment commercial. Sixth season guest stars include Carmen Electra, George Lopez, Patton Oswalt, Nick Swardson, Rachael Harris, Aziz Ansari, Matt Besser, Rob Huebel, Jay Johnston, AD Miles, Scott Thompson and Matt Walsh. comedycentral.com will be an extension of the show experience through Web-only exclusives and by offering users interaction with the "RENO 911!" characters and content. The site will also showcase two new exclusive video series: "Workin' It," a set of seven office etiquette tutorials and "Date-A-Cop," eight online dating profile videos, both starring the "RENO 911!" cast. There will also be two new video profiles for officers Rizzo and Declan and a video montage of the "RENO 911!" cast at Mardi Gras 2009. Additionally, COMEDY CENTRAL Digital will extend its content on mobile and gaming platforms. There will be a mobile WAP site, which will feature ringtones, photo galleries, officer profiles and more. Also launching will be a new tower defense game featuring the officers of "RENO 911!."

"RENO 911!'s" premiere telecast was among the most successful in network history and it continues to be one of the network's most highly-rated series. "RENO 911!" gives viewers the chance to witness the men and women of the Reno Sheriff's Department at work and at play, offering a hilarious and unexpected spoof of the traditional cop reality program. With an ensemble cast that features "" and "The State" alumni Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Thomas Lennon, "RENO 911!" is an improv comedy about the adventures and relationships of a local Reno, Nevada precinct.
