■ Yuki Takahashi

“Continuing from 2016 I will be competing in the JSB1000 Category for All Japan Road Racing Championship in 2017. There will be many challenges for sure however, this will be the year where we will be back to the Suzuka 8 Hours Race. Also from this year, Ryuichi Kiyonari will be my teammate for the 2017 season and I am looking forward for that as well. There will be hard developments for the new Honda CBR1000RR and we will have to do it very

quick. Also switching the tyres to PIRELLI will be another thing we have to focus. There really are a lot of things to do and I truly believe that my best rival will be my teammate so I will give my best and look forward to the next season.”

■ Ryuichi Kiyonari

“I am already very excited to be back in Japan and with Honda again. It will be the first time racing for MORIWAKI Racing however, they are very familiar for me ever since I started racing. MORIWAKI have being very friendly and treated me like I was one of the Moriwaki family. With that said, I am very honored to being able to race with them and also my plans fitted very well with Moriwaki. Also being able to come back as a Honda rider was one of the reason I choose Moriwaki as well. I am just excited to be pairing up with Yuki Takahashi in the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours Race and for Moriwaki and Honda I will definitely aim for the victory and the season title. Lastly, I am honored to return to Japan and I can not wait see the Japanese fans. I wish to see them at the circuit.”

“First of all I would like to say thank you to all of the people who has being supporting MORIWAKI Racing. This year we have being able to achieve one of our goals which is to prepare for the 2017, Suzuka 8 Hours Race by developing the machine and the team. I am very satisfied and looking very forward to next year with Yuki Takahashi, having successful results against the world and also welcoming Ryuichi Kiyonari, a former winner of the Suzuka 8 Hours Race. Both Takahashi and Kiyonari have fought each other as teammates before and they both have tremendous ability to develop the machine so I am expecting the development with the new Honda CBR1000RR to move very quickly. With that said and this year will be the 40th annual running of the Suzuka 8 Hours Race and really aim for the victory with all of our members together.”
