It was good to have some first timers too! The 10 Teams helped raise £260 for the Club funds. Once again an interesting and varied quiz was prepared and presented by Peter Smith, ably assisted by his wife Margaret, who kept the scores. Thank you to them both. A welcome midway break supper of fish/chicken and chips went down very well. The Quiz was a very close run thing, with the Buttery Team “Deuce” eventually The Winning Team winning by two points from the Parry Team Editor’s Column “New Balls Please”.
