Computers certainly make up a large part of many people lives and traditionally are extremely damaging to the environment. Manufacturers of computer and its parts have been espousing the green cause to help protect environment from computers and e-waste in any way. Probably the Energy Star has probably initiated the “green computing” movement by sustaining the control on the use of toxic materials, conserving the energy wasted by computer like machines at idle time. This article is obviously an effort to spread out the basic need of green computing to protect the envi- ronment.
