Community-Academic partnership with Beck Cultural Exchange Center to confront racism in 2014-present the community and specifically among nurses and in healthcare Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI)–Community-Academic Partnership. 2008–2016 Developed trusting relationship over five-year period. Established a successful community health cultural immersion experience through partnership with EBCI Public Health Division. Students were immersed in EBCI culture and engage in culturally congruent service learning to promote health in the community. CON Community Health Course, Cultural immersion experience at Redbird Mission, Beverly, 2009–2016 KY: Served the community health needs of rural Appalachian people, one-week sessions Academic–practice partnership with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
