P2 is the second Def Jam-backed release by Harlem MC Dave East, who signed to Nas' Mass Appeal Records in 2014. Featuring guest appearances from T.I., Lloyd Banks, Tory Lanez, and Marsha Ambrosius, P2 is the sequel to 2017's Paranoia: A True Story (which reached the Top Ten of the Billboard Top 200). East continues to hone his sharp storytelling skills here, and the production (by Illmind, Cardiak, Street Symphony, and others) has more of a live, organic feel than East's past efforts. Despite P2's nearly hourlong running time, East considers the release and its predecessor as EPs, in anticipation of his proper debut album. P2 debuted at number 78 on the Billboard 200 following its January 2018 arrival. © Paul Simpson /TiVo. Copy the following link to share it. You are currently listening to samples. download meek mill win or loses album Download meek mill win or loses album. Full Album - Meek Mill Championships. Championships is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper Meek Mill, set to be released on November 30, 2018, through Maybach Music and Atlantic Records. It follows Mill's July 2018 EP Legends of the Summer. According to Vulture, Meek's Bardi collaboration, which was previously hinted at last month, will include what they say is a subtle shot to Nicki Minaj. On the track, Bardi reportedly raps, “I been hardworking and humble,” lyrics the publication believes are a response to Nicki's accusing Bardi of paying for radio play. In another interesting note, Vulture's report also indicates that Meek Mill has a Kodak Black-assisted, Tay Keith-produced track on the new album. On the track, he delivers some bars some might also take as shots at Nicki, though he doesn't specify any woman in particular. “I don’t want my old bitch back but I still wanna Bleep," Meek raps on the song. PRESENTS FRESH DRESSED A CNN FILMS PRODUCTION WORLD PREMIERE – DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE Running Time: 82 Minutes Sales Contact: Dogwoof Ana Vicente – Head of Theatrical Sales Tel: 02072536244 [email protected] 1 SYNOPSIS With funky, fat-laced Adidas, Kangol hats, and Cazal shades, a totally original look was born— Fresh—and it came from the black and brown side of town where another cultural force was revving up in the streets to take the world by storm. Hip-hop, and its aspirational relationship to fashion, would become such a force on the market that Tommy Hilfiger, in an effort to associate their brand with the cultural swell, would drive through the streets and hand out free clothing to kids on the corner. Fresh Dressed is a fascinating, fun-to-watch chronicle of hip-hop, urban fashion, and the hustle that brought oversized pants and graffiti-drenched jackets from Orchard Street to high fashion's catwalks and Middle America shopping malls. Reaching deep to Southern plantation culture, the Black church, and Little Richard, director Sacha Jenkins' music-drenched history draws from a rich mix of archival materials and in-depth interviews with rappers, designers, and other industry insiders, such as Pharrell Williams, Damon Dash, Karl Kani, Kanye West, Nasir Jones, and André Leon Talley. The result is a passionate telling of how the reach for freedom of expression and a better life by a culture that refused to be squashed, would, through sheer originality and swagger, take over the mainstream. 2 ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS SACHA JENKINS – Director Sacha Jenkins, a native New Yorker, published his first magazine—Graphic Scenes & X-Plicit Language (a ‘zine about the graffiti subculture)—at age 17.

  • The Justice in Policing Act of 2020 in the U.S
June 23, 2020 Honorable Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House 1236 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Honorable Kevin McCarthy Republican Leader 2468 Rayburn House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Dear Speaker Pelosi and Leader McCarthy: Since the killing of George Floyd just one month ago, our country has seen protests grow, attitudes shift, and calls for change intensify. We in the music and entertainment communities believe that Black lives matter and have long decried the injustices endured by generations of Black citizens. We are more determined than ever to push for federal, state, and local law enforcement programs that truly serve their communities. Accordingly, we are grateful for movement of the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 in the U.S. House of Representatives and urge its quick passage. The Justice in Policing Act is not about marginal change; it takes bold steps that will make a real, positive difference for law enforcement and the communities they serve. We celebrate the long- overdue rejection of qualified immunity, emphasizing that law enforcement officers themselves are not above the law – that bad cops must be held accountable and victims must have recourse. We applaud the provisions to ban chokeholds and no-knock warrants, to establish a national police misconduct registry, to collect data and improve investigations into police misconduct, to promote de-escalation practices, to establish comprehensive training programs, and to update and enhance standards and practices. This legislation will not only promote justice; it will establish a culture of responsibility, fairness, and respect deserving of the badge. Our communities and nation look to you to take a stand in this extraordinary moment and we respectfully ask that you vote YES on the Justice in Policing Act of 2020.
