(AQW 95/11-15) Mr P Robinson and Mr M McGuinness (The First Minister and deputy First Minister): The table below shows the groups that were successful in obtaining funding for an 18-month programme of activities under the Strategic Support Fund. No formal assessment of the groups’ perceived background was conducted. WA 404 Friday 29 July 2011 Written Answers Social Investment Fund Mr Easton asked the First Minister and deputy First Minister how funding under the Social Investment Fund will be delivered to local communities; and when the allocation of this funding will begin. (AQW 139/11-15) Mr P Robinson and Mr M McGuinness: Our officials are currently engaged in discussions both with officials from other government departments and key stakeholders to develop a consultation paper on the Social Investment Fund. We hope to issue this paper for a period of public consultation in the next few weeks. Following an analysis of responses to the public consultation, we would hope to see funding being allocated during the autumn.
