FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOl Week at a Glance May 17th to May 22nd 2021 Saturday 22nd______Announcement Students do you have an interest in pursuing a career in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or Interior Design? Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto Architects & Engineering is hosting an Open House Meet and Greet specifically aimed at high school students. It’s a great opportunity for students to learn more about these professions and also make connections that can lead to opportunities of job shadowing, internships and future careers. The staff at NMR are looking forward to fanning the interests of students planning a career in these fields. The Open House / Meet and Greet is May 21st from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at their office located at 300 Knollcrest Drive. Teachers, counselors and principals are invited to attend as well. Summer School Registration: Has your student failed a class? If yes, they need to make-up those credits. If you are unsure, go to your Aeries Portal and view your student’s transcript. F = Summer School. Students can recover up to 15 credits this summer! Summer School runs from June 9th to July 2nd. To register and get more information go to foothillcougars.com click on counseling and you will find the Summer School link on the drop down list. Lunch and some transportation will be provided. Students only needing to recover 1-2 courses and can provide their own transportation home are welcome to leave once their session is out. Sign up now! Spaces are limited. Foothill FFA is having their Awards Banquet on May 20th in the Foothill Student Union. Dinner tickets - $15 Donation can be purchased from any of the FHS AG Teachers. Dinner includes tri-tip, chicken, potatoes, beans, salad, bread roll and drink. Tickets are not required to attend Awards Ceremony only. Seniors Attention seniors! Please check your fees and fines page in Aeries, the end of the school year is fast approaching. If you have fees to take care of, don’t wait, come to the library to get them straightened out.
