The Land

The land is farmed in a minimum of three enclosures;

Lot 1 contains two enclosures, although farmed in three enclosures in certain years, with a track bisecting the Lot. It extends to just under 58 acres. Part of Lot 1 has benefitted from the application of poultry manure in 2014.

Farm building The farm building measures 60’ wide (18.3m) x 59’ 6” long (18.1m). It is of steel pitched framed construction with profiled metal sheeting to sides and roof. There is galvanised steel grain walling to approximately 12’ on all four sides, save for the 20’ wide sliding doors. There is a concrete floor and a small concreted apron in front of the double sliding doors, which is surrounded by a more substantial hardcored area.

There are six vented galvanised flooring ducts evenly spread, with air being blown through them via a diesel powered engine in the corner of the shed. This engine is included in the sale of Lot 1 or the whole.

Lot 2 extends to just over 60 acres and can be farmed as one enclosure. It includes an area of Stubbings Green meaning that the croppable area is circa 56 acres. There is excellent roadside access along the complete west boundary to Lot 2.
