 PARISH STATUS AND INSTALLATION OF A PASTOR The Ordinariate’s Governing Council has unanimously decided to erect Saint Barnabas as a canonical parish. Bishop Lopes will be with us on Sunday, June 10, when we will observe our patronal feast. Evensong will be sung as usual at 5:30 pm, followed by a buffet supper. Further details on the day’s events will be forthcoming.

 SUPPORT OUR SEMINARIANS As an Ordinariate family, we are called to support the education of our seminarians. This weekend, our Parish will have an opportunity to help the men preparing to become holy, faithful priests of the Ordinariate. Today, all Parishes of the Ordinariate will host a collection for the Seminary Formation Fund. This fund was established so that Ordinariate faithful might join together to support those who have so generously responded to the Lord’s call to the priesthood. Please take time to read the bulletin insert that shares more information on how your gifts will go towards the formation of our future priests. The high cost of seminary education requires a reliable source of funding. As our vocations continue to increase, we will need additional resources to cover these costs. The Ordinariate has provided us envelopes for this collection, which are placed in the pews and/or will be handed to you as you leave today. Please prayerfully consider giving a gift. Checks should be made payable to “The Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter” and returned using the provided envelopes and donation cards, or you may mail your gift directly to the Ordinariate using the provided envelopes. You may also give online at ordinariate.net/seminarian-formation-fund. The men you help educate today will serve as the leaders of our Ordinariate Parishes and Parochial Communities tomorrow. Thank you for your generosity toward our seminarians who have responded to the call to serve the Lord, the Church, and all of us.
