Las Vegas offense: The Aviators recorded 7 hits and scored solo runs in the third inning on an RBI single by shortstop Pete Kozma (1-for-4) and a homer in the seventh by catcher Austin Allen (1-for-4). 2019 SEASON – The Aviators compiled the second-best record in the 16-team Pacific Coast League at 83-57 (.593)…Round Rock Express had the best record in the PCL at 84-56 (.600)...Las Vegas tied a franchise record for most road wins in a season with 44 (2002 team was 44-28, .611)…Las Vegas clinched its first PCL Playoff berth since the 2014 season (Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets)…Las Vegas lost to Sacramento, 3-games-to-2, in the League Championship Series…the River Cats captured the PCL and the Triple-A championships…Las Vegas recorded 250 home runs, breaking the previous mark of 184 (2001, 2004).

LAS VEGAS 80-WIN SEASONS – The Las Vegas franchise has won 80 or more games in a season six times: 85 (2002, franchise best 85-59 record (.590); 83 (1983 inaugural season, 83-60 (.580); 83 (83-57, .593 in 2019); 81 (81-63, .563 in 2013); 81 (81-63, .563 in 2014); 80 (1986 PCL champions with an 80-62 mark (.563)…Las Vegas recorded back-to-back 80-win seasons for the first time in franchise history (2013 & 2014)...the 83-57 record in 2019 marked a single-season franchise record for winning percentage at .593 (140-game season).

LAS VEGAS BALLPARK HISTORY: The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) announced on October 10, 2017 its plans to develop and construct a baseball stadium in Downtown Summerlin® on approximately eight acres just south of City National Arena, the National Hockey League practice facility for the Vegas Golden Knights. The announcement on October 10, followed a vote by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority Board of Directors approving a marketing partnership that gives LVCVA naming rights to the stadium. The Las Vegas Ballpark was designed by HOK, a global architecture firm with an expertise in stadium design and constructed by HUNT/PENTA. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, February 23, 2018 before a crowd of several hundred people! The 8,834-fan-capacity stadium blends the distinct architectural style of the Summerlin® community with the aviation legacy of Howard Hughes. The ballpark will provide a wide range of seating options including 22 suites, club seats, berm seating, party zones and decks, picnic tables, kids’ zone, bars and even a pool beyond the outfield wall. Designed to create a festival-like atmosphere in Downtown Summerlin, the site will be landscaped to complement the master planned community. Parking is conveniently located on adjacent sites. The grand opening took place on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 before a sellout crowd of 11,036 and the Aviators defeated Sacramento, 10-2.

LAS VEGAS AVIATORS LOGO AND INFORMATION: The Howard Hughes Corporation®, owner of the city's professional Triple-A baseball team of Triple-A West (formerly the Pacific Coast League, PCL), and developer of the Summerlin® master planned community and the Las Vegas Ballpark® located at Downtown Summerlin®, announced on December 8, 2018 the team's new name - the Las Vegas Aviators®. The name change completed a rebrand that included the team's new two-year Player Development Contract (PDC) with the Oakland Athletics (2018) and the opening of the Las Vegas Ballpark, the state-of-the-art Triple-A baseball stadium, that now serves as the home of the Aviators. The name change (from 51s) pays homage to the company's namesake, Howard R. YurView, featuring the best of local and regional television content, will return for a second season and broadcast ten live Las Vegas Aviators baseball games on Cox Channel 14 and 1014 in high-definition from Las Vegas Ballpark. YurView broadcast 10 games during the 2019 inaugural season at Las Vegas Ballpark.

Las Vegas Ballpark 100% Capacity began on June 10: The Aviators announced on May 24 that Las Vegas Ballpark will operate at 100% capacity beginning with the third homestand of the 2021 season on Thursday, June 10 against intrastate rival, the Reno Aces. Individual Game Tickets: Aviators individual game tickets for the remainder of the 2021 season (June 10 – September 14) went on sale on Tuesday, June 1 at noon pacific through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com). Mask Policy: Due to CDC and state/local guidelines, masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated fans at the ballpark. Aviators on Radio in 2021: Russ Langer will broadcast all 120 games on Raider Nation Radio 920 AM and on www.aviatorslv.com. ROBERT J. BLUM BROADCAST BOOTH AT LAS VEGAS BALLPARK: The “Aviators Home Radio Booth” was renamed the “Robert J. Blum Broadcast Booth” prior to the 2013 season at Cashman Field (and currently at Las Vegas Ballpark) to honor the then-51s Special Assistant to the General Manager…“The Blummer” passed away on July 22, 2012 at the age of 91...also served as the play-by-play voice for Stars/51s baseball in selected seasons from 1985-2005 & 2008-10…his company, Robert J. Blum Productions, also produced Las Vegas Triple-A professional baseball games broadcast on radio and television for several seasons.

Aviators Manager Fran Riordan: ***2019 PCL Manager of the Year***…was named the 25th manager (November 8, 2018) in the history of the Las Vegas franchise (1983 - present, 37 seasons). Career Summary: He has recorded 20 seasons overall in professional baseball and has been a member of the Oakland Athletics organization for the past six seasons (2015-20). Riordan has compiled an overall managerial record over 21 seasons (current) of 1,044-1,003 (.510). 2020: Riordan was involved with the Athletics 60-man player pool alternate site located in San Jose, Calif. 2019: He was named PCL Manager of the Year and led Triple-A Las Vegas to the second-best record in the 16-team PCL (83-57, .593) and the Aviators captured the Pacific Southern Division Championship. Las Vegas returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2014 and lost to Sacramento, 3-games-to-2, in the conference championship series. The 83-57 record marked a single-season franchise record for winning percentage at .593 (140-game season). 2018: He made his Triple-A debut as manager with the Nashville Sounds of the Pacific Coast League and compiled an overall record of 72-68 (.514) and finished in second place in the American Southern Division to the PCL and Triple-A National Champion, the Memphis Redbirds…Nashville compiled a PCL-best 15-game winning streak from July 29 – August 14. 2017: He compiled a record of 67-71 (.486) with Double-A Midland and his squad captured the Texas League Championship…the prior two seasons, he was the skipper of Single-A Beloit of the Midwest League (2015-16)…before joining the Oakland organization, Riordan spent four seasons as manager of the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League (2011-14)…led the team to two playoff berths and is the all-time Frontier League leader in wins with 625…was a 2014 Frontier League Hall of Fame inductee.
