Outdoors: Walking tour of the daylighted Saw Mill River at Larkin Plaza. Jim Pinto, Director of Economic Development, Peekskill N.Y., former Waterfront Development Director, Yonkers N.Y. will lead the tour.
Indoors: Welcoming remarks, screening of the documentary film and discussions. Lost Rivers—a screening of the Yonkers Saw Mill River Flume portion of the 2012 Canadian documentary film about a number of buried rivers around the world. Joseph Fleming, Executive Vice President, PS&S Engineers, will lead a discussion of the engineering and construction issues of the daylighting. Lynne Ward, Executive Vice President, National RE/sources, will discuss changes in the real estate environment stemming from the daylighting project, and National RE/Sources.
