Dover employs ECO-robot to clean ships’ hulls

Cruise ships visiting Dover port can now enjoy a hull spring clean thanks to a new machine developed by Norwegian cleantech company ECOsubsea. The machine uses a robot-like ‘vehicle’ to remove debris from a ship’s hull and pump it ashore, which helps to protect the ocean and marine life.
