That trend will continue this week as Valpo visits Loyola for the second game in a stretch of five straight on the road. Holst Among National Leaders: Valpo goalkeeper Edvin Holst ranks 14th nationally in saves per game with 5.29. He is fourth among freshman keepers in his saves per game average. He is also in the Top 50 in total saves as his 37 rank 44th nationally. He owns @VUMSO the Missouri Valley Conference lead in both saves and saves per game. The last Valpo goalkeeper to finish a season as the league leader in saves was Ryan Schwarz in 2007. #oneVALPO PK Conversion: Ryan Madondo converted a penalty kick last Tuesday vs. Bradley to help Valpo get on the board first in the Missouri Valley Conference contest. He helped Valpo improve to 2-for-2 on PKs this season after Cole Rainwater knocked one in on Sept. 2 vs. IU Northwest.
