CALVING INTERVAL ‐ Points will be awarded for the interval between the first calving date and the last dry date in the qualifying lacta#on's. On a scale of plus two points per day under 750 days minus two points for each day over 750 days. 5. VALUE OF MILK ‐ Points will be awarded for the value of milk produced. On a scale of plus two points per kilo of fat produced and plus 3 points per kilo of protein produced. 6. INSPECTION ‐ The cow placed first on inspec#on will receive a number of points equal to the number of maximum produc#on points awarded in the class. WELSH BLACKS This show is a qualifying show for the pres#gious Welsh Black Ca"le Society’s ‘Bull and Female of the Year’ award – champion bull, champion female and reserve champions. Animals must be exhibited by a WBCS member. A prize will be awarded to the owners of the bull and female who gain the highest aggregate points at the nominated shows, and prizes will be awarded to the reserve and second reserve winners. All exhibits must be entered in the WBCS herd book, grading up appendix or polled register. WBCS judges may only judge at one qualifying show in any season.

Any Exhibitor who shall be found guilty of fraudulent prac#ces at the Show shall be disqualified. 4. No Steward exhibi#ng any animal shall be allowed in the Ring when his animal is being judged. 5. Any objec#on to any exhibit must be made in wri#ng and handed to the Secretary, accompanied by a deposit of £10. In the event of such objec#on being frivolous, the deposit will be forfeited to the funds. 6. Any animal compe#ng in Classes where height is a qualifica#on must be measured by the Veterinary Officer employed for the purpose, who shall give the owners a card cer#fying the height, such measurements to be made before the animals enter the ring. 7. Any animal compe#ng in classes where age is a qualifica#on must provide date of birth if requested. 8. One person only to be admi"ed Free with exhibits of Stock. No free admi"ance for exhibitors in Dog Show. 9. The Commi"ee or Secretary will not be answerable or responsible for any accident, loss or damage to persons or property, at or during the Show. They will not be responsible for any printers’ errors in the Schedule or Catalogue. 10. All servants or owners in charge of stock will be subject to the orders of the stewards; any servant or owner disobeying such orders will be liable to be fined or expelled from the Show Field. 11. The Commi"ee reserve the right to call the classes for judging in any order they wish. 13. Prize winning ca"le & sheep exhibits to a"end presenta#on of trophies in main ring. 1. Entries must reach the Secretary by Friday 17th August 2018. 2. All exhibits must be displayed by 11.00 am on the morning of the show. 3. The exact number and kind of ar#cles outlined in the schedule must be displayed; otherwise no prize will be given. 4. If not more than three entries in any one class are received, the awarding of third prize will be le& to the discre#on of the Judge. 5. All disputes to be finally se"led by the Commi"ee and protests in wri#ng must be handed to the Secretary before 3.00pm on the day of the show accompanied by a deposit of 50p which will be forfeited if the complaint is frivolous. 6. It shall be the duty of the Commi"ee to see that no person, except those officially appointed shall be present during the Judging. 7. The Commi"ee will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any receptacle holding exhibits. 8. All specimens for compe##on must have been grown by the Exhibitor in his/her allotment or garden. 9. The Commi"ee reserves the right to enter and inspect the allotment or garden of any exhibitor. 10. No exhibits are to be removed before 4.30 pm but must be cleared by 6.00 pm and only in the presence of stewards. 11.
