CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF MID BEDFORDSHIRE) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA AND SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2008) (VARIATION NO 13) ORDER 2011 The Bedfordshire County Council (the “Council”) in exercise of the powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“The Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of schedule 9 to the Act, hereby makes the following Order: 1. This Order shall come into operation on 25th day of April 2011 and may be cited as “Central Bedfordshire Council (Bedfordshire County Council (District of Mid Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008) (Variation No 13) Order 2001” 2. As from the date upon which this Order comes into operation, the provisions of the “Bedfordshire County Council (District of Mid Bedfordshire) (Civil Enforcement Area and Special Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2008” shall be varied as follows:- The plan schedule reference “BH75: Sheet Revision Number – 1” shall be deleted and “Area Code BH75: Sheet Revision Number – 2” shall be substituted. The plan schedule reference “BG75: Sheet Revision Number – 1” shall be added to the plans attached to the Order. CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (WESTERN ACCESS LOOP ROAD TO ARLESEY STATION) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2011 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (BEDFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF MID BEDFORDSHIRE) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA AND SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2008) (VARIATION NO 13) ORDER 2011 CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (A507 ARLESEY ROAD, HENLOW) (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2011 On the 21st April 2011 Central Bedfordshire Council made Road Traffic Regulation Orders as follows: Effect of the Order: A. One-way road. To make the western access loop road to Arlesey Railway Station a one-way circulatory system with vehicles travelling clockwise. The entry point will be from the eastbound A507 Arlesey Road and the exit will be onto the two-way slip road leading to the westbound A507 Arlesey Road. B. No Waiting At Any Time. To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on both sides of the road along the full length of the one-way road system, except for three defined areas where parking will be allowed (see Item C). C. Areas of parking. (i) The south side of the loop road from a point approximately 78 metres west of the south-east corner of the station car park extending westwards for approximately 89 metres; (ii) The south side of the loop road from a point approximately 180 metres west of the south-east corner of the station car park extending westwards for approximately 26 metres; and (iii) The south side of the loop road from a point approximately 25 metres east of the south-west corner of the loop road extending eastwards for a distance of approximately 99 metres. D. No right turn. To prohibit any vehicle making a right turn into the A507 Arlesey Road, Henlow from the southern access road of the western access loop leading from Arlesey Railway Station. NOTE: The Public Notice proposing this Order dated 12th November 2010 included additional lengths of No Waiting At Any Time on those areas of parking identified as items C (ii) and (iii) above. These particular restrictions will not be introduced at this time, but it is expected that they will be introduced at a later date. Date of Operation: The Order will come into operation on the 25th April 2011. Further Details: of the Orders, a plan and a statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the address below or during normal opening hours at Arlesey Library, High Street, Arlesey SG1 6SN. High Court Challenge: Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Section had not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the 21st April 2011 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
