Two weeks from now, these students will graduate. The class of 2011 has witnessed much over the last four years. When they first came to Davidson, the college had a brand new president, Richardson and Watts were decrepit, Davis was not a ubiquitous name and the carpet of the library was bright green. While the college has made some enormous changes over the last four years, so too has the class of ’11. For example, Nick Carney believes he and many of his peers have “grown much more into themselves over the last four years.” “I am much more confident now, and I know better what I stand for,” he elaborated. “I can also grow a beard now,” he joked. When reflecting on the past four years, numerous seniors had many fond memories. One common shared experience that most Photos by Bill Giduz. seniors cherish was Davidson’s elite eight run Top left: Three students celebrate in 2009. “Going to Detroit freshman year the tenth anniversary.
