8 EMU Sections:  HWH Division: HWH-BWN Main line, HWH-BWN Chord line, BDC-KWAE, SHE-TAK-  SDAH Division: Jn. – , – Gede, Krishnanagar – Lalgola, Bangaon – comes under the North corridor. The south corridor comprises of sections - SDAH/South- Ballygunge , Ballygunge-Sonarpur-Canning, Sonarpur--Lakshmikantapur- Namkhana and, Baruipur - , North

9 MEMU sections:  ASN-BWN-HWH, BWN-SDAH-LGL, ASN-JHAJHA, ASN-PKA,ASN-BWN-RPH-AZ, UDL-SNT-RPH, JSME-BDME,KIUL-JMP-SBG, SDAH-JRLE. 10 Steps taken to improve Customer Interface:

1. 245 Nos. special EMU trains as Patrolling Special run by HWH & SDAH Division, 46 Nos scheduled MEMU services and 28 nos MEMU patroling special run by ASN Division daily in this month.

2. “Reserved only for Railway Staff” self adhesive glossy sticker has been provided in all EMU rakes to easy locate of the reserved coaches for both Railway and Non-Railway commuters during travelling in Staff special rakes.

3. Considering the present pandemic situation Driver/Guard Cab sanitization of all EMU/MEMU special trains is being insured before changing the crew.

4. “30 days Zonal safety drive on maintenance of EOT crane” has been Completed in SDAH division. 5. Joint EMU/MEMU’s Pantograph checking, along with TRD personal has been completed in 373 nos EMU/MEMU motor coaches during this month. 6. 18 nos. IC, 67 nos. IA & 217 nos. TI inspections have been done till date during this month by maintaining social distance. 7. Activity against COVID – 19 intensifies in all EMU, Sheds and outstations:

I. Special counseling done at both shed regarding safety and maintained social distance. II. 2nd round distribution of Kits (Liquid Soap, Mask & Sanitizer) had been done among all staffs of both car shed along with all contractor staffs. III. All the rakes stabled in different location are being sanitized by Sodium Hypochlorite. IV. All the sections of shed and out station point had been properly cleaned and sanitized by Sodium Hypochlorite.

8. Safety Action Plan against Super Cyclone “Yaas”

Following action had been taken as precautionary measure to save our rolling stock asset.

I. All EMU rakes of CS/HWH placed on different loop line of station over HWH division. II. All EMU rakes stable at different locations are secured by lowering pantograph, providing wooden wedge on wheel and also wheel locked by chain with rail. III. Hired a DG set for four days from out source for EMU car shed to drainage the logged water as during cyclone OHE & general power supply is kept in OFF condition.

9. Howrah Car shed was inundated from 11.05.2021 to 14.05.2021 and 26.05.21 to 31.05.21 due to heavy down pour and water logging. All the maintenance activities at Car shed – Howrah was suspended on above days.
