But Paul Rudd proved he's also got a heart of gold as he hosted his second annual All-Star Bowling Benefit for children who stutter in New York, on Monday. The 44-year-old actor could be seen throughout the fund raising event performing various comedic antics while bowling at the lanes. Gearing up: Paul Rudd hosted his second annual All-Star Bowling Benefit for children who stutter in New York, on Monday The I Love You, Man star taught some of the fundamentals of the sport to the children gathered for the event. But when it came his turn to demonstrate his bowling prowess it appeared he may have needed some practise in the art. Performing a comedic kick in the air after seeming to land the ball in the gutter the surrounding kids erupted into both applause and giggles. Getting a rise: The 44-year-old actor looked to have missed his mark during the event The set up: Rudd got his form down before letting loose But the antics also seemed to have been choreographed to entertain the youngsters, who the star was intent upon helping. Wearing brown suede loafers and tan chinos, Rudd went casual in a simple chequered button down shirt. -

ADAM SANDLER: MENTOR OF MIDDLE-CLASS MASCULINITY AND MANHOOD A Thesis Presented to the Faculty of California State University, Stanislaus In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master of Arts in History By Kathleen Boone Chapman April 2014 CERTIFICATION OF APPROVAL ADAM SANDLER: MENTOR OF MASCULINITY AND FATHERHOOD by Kathleen Boone Chapman Signed Certification of Approval Page is on file with the University Library Dr. Bret E. Carroll Date Professor of History Dr. Samuel Regalado Date Professor of History Dr. Marcy Rose Chvasta Date Professor of Communications © 2014 Kathleen Boone Chapman ALL RIGHTS RESERVED DEDICATION I am dedicating this work to my three dear friends: Ronda James, Candace Paulson, and Michele Sniegoski. Ronda’s encouragement and obedience to the Lord gave me what I needed to go back to school with significant health issues and so late in life. Candace, who graduated from Stanford “back in the olden days,” to quote our kids, inspired me to follow my dream and become all God wants me to be. Michele’s long struggle with terminal kidney disease motivated me to keep living in spite of my own health issues. We have laughed and cried together over many years, but all of you have given me strength to carry on. Sorry two of you made it to heaven before I could get this finished. I also want to give credit to my husband of forty years who has been a faithful breadwinner, proof-reader, and a paragon of patience. What more could any woman ask for? He has also put up with me yelling at my computer and cursing Bill Gates – A LOT. -

Celebrity News: Judd Apatow Feels Bad for Wife Because He’s a ‘Disgusting Man’ By Meghan Fitzgerald Judd Apatow, 45, writer, co-producer, and director of This is 40, said he sees himself in his characters Paul Rudd, and Leslie Mann. Apatow and Leslie Mann, a real life married couple know the dilemmas of marriage. Apatow talks with People, stating that he “Relate[s] to just being a disgusting man and feeling bad that my wife even has to be around.” Even after problems after a 16-year relationship, the couple remains in love with each other, and loves working together more than anything. What are some ways to bridge the gap between genders in your relationship? Cupid’s Advice: From the beginning of time, men and women have been looked at as two different people, not equals. This is present in relationships, the strong gap between men and women. It is commonly said that men make more money than women, that men are more responsible, that they’re the ‘man of the house.’ Problems and trouble loom from these accusations. Cupid has some advice on how to keep this out of a relationship: 1. Respect: With genders in a relationship, each person needs to respect the other. Even if the man makes more money than the women, he needs to respect that he does not have all the power. Money or power does not show that one is better than the other. Also, women need to respect that men try their best to balance work and their family. Although this may not always be the case, women have to be aware that their partner still loves them. -
