He’s still the brownest household name in . Now Nazeem Hussain makes his debut at the 2016 NZ International Comedy Festival powered by Flick Electric Co. with his hit live show, Legally Brown.

Hussain performed Legally Brown - his debut solo show - around Australia and Europe in 2015 and was nominated for a prestigious Australian live entertainment industry Helpmann Award for Best Comedy in the same year. He also bagged a prestigious TV industry 2015 TV Week Logie Award nomination for Most Outstanding Comedy for his smash-hit SBS TV show of the same name, Legally Brown.

Beginning his stand up career as one-half of 2008 International Comedy Festival Best Newcomer, Fear of a Brown Planet, Hussain’s solo career took off after they called time on the cult comedy partnership. Continuing his assault on politics and race relations. Hussain’s comedy is cerebral, confronting and funny - in spades.

Nazeem Hussain is a comedian, writer and activist and has fast become one of the most in-demand TV and radio personalities in Australia. A familiar voice on the airwaves, Nazeem is regularly heard on Australia’s youth network . TV wise he’s been seen on Australian night time TV show The Project, It’s a Date, Balls of Steel Australia, Studio Ten and Q&A.
