The two-phase project called for the excavation and placement of some 80 million cubic meters of material, as a joint venture with AA Nass Contracting, who handled the rock works portion of the contract. • Phase I: 35 million cubic meters of marine borrow material over a 36-month period to reclaim 6 million square meters of new land. • Phase II: 45 million cubic meters of marine borrow material over a 36-month period to reclaim another 6 million square meters of land.
