Health Care for the Poor and Neglected Hidaya assists poor patients suffering from contagious diseases by providing access to doctors, lab tests, medicines and follow-up visits. Assistance is given to patients who need surgeries in the localities where Hidaya operates, and hospitals are provided with equipment, medicines and cash in order to better treat poor patients. Hidaya also collects new and used medical equipment, supplies, and medicines locally, and ships them overseas via its Container Shipment for In-Kind Donations project for use in hospitals and clinics enabling them to provide better service to the poor.
