Everyone at Saurashtra Cricket Association is witness of his Cricketing prowess and human side. The true Champion calls it a day. The swagger will be hugely missed in the World of Cricket having him in action behind the stump as well as hitting the ball hard. Undoubtedly the most successful Captain India has had till date. He hangs up his boots for International Cricket as he walks into the sunset leaving behind a envious and enormous legacy. Be it Tests or ODI or the shortest format he played as per the highest standards set by himself and has raised the bar. A proud and very dignified Cricketer and gentleman on and off the field. Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium as well as Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground of Rajkot have witnessed his aura and unmatched skills during One Day International Matches between India vs Sri Lanka in 2005, India vs Sri Lanka in 2007, India vs England in 2008, India vs Sri Lanka in 2009, India vs England in 2013 and India vs South Africa in 2015; International T20 matches between India vs Australia in 2013 and India vs New Zealand in 2017; IPL matches in 2016 and 2017. Shri Niranjan Shah, former Hon.
