Muslims Taround the world undertake the rite of fasting from sunrise to sunset during this month. Fasting is a way for Muslims to realise and to be thankful for what they have. Ramadan is a spiritual month for Muslims to contemplate, and to try and better themselves in any way possible. The cover story of 999 this month is directed at our expatriate and tourist brothers and sisters, some of whom may not be fully aware of the significance and meaning of this magical time, and may not necessarily be conscious of how to conduct themselves during this period.
