Attached for your information and guidance is a copy of letter dated October 10, 2019 from the National Union of Career Executive Service Officers, Inc. (NUCESO) re: 18 Annual CES Conference with the Theme “MABILIS, MALINIS NA SERBISYO, ALAY NG NUCESO SA SAMBAYANANG PILIPINO”.

The NUCESO isinviting participants (from Undersecretary to Division Chief level) to attend the said activity. ! am Atty. Lynn Danao-Moreno, CESO Il, the Assistant Executive Secretary for General Government Administration, Office of the President. My office handles, among others, the processing of requests (1) for travel authority and other travel-related entitlements of cabinet members and other government officials; (2) to negotiate and enter into treaties, executive agreements and other international agreeménis including loan and grant agreements; (3) for the issuance of Presidential Proclamations to declare lands and buildings as economic zones, and conveyance/reservation of lands of the public domain for public purposes.

Presently, | am the National President of the National Union of Career Executive Service Officers, Inc. (NUCESO), an umbrella organization of Career Executive Service Officers (CESOs}, Career Executive Service Eligibles (CESEs}, Career Service Executive Eligibles (CSEEs} occupying CES positions, retired CESOs, honorary and institutional members (e.g. Development Academy of the Philippines and Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc.}. The list of NUCESO Officers and Members of the Board of Trustees for 2019-2021 (which includes DOH Director Enrique A. Tayag, representing the DOH National Office Chapter and Regional Director Adriano Suba-an, representing the DOH Region X Chapter), as well as NUCESO’s purposes, core values and mission/vision statements are found in the enclosed copy of our souvenir program for the 2019 NUCESO Mid-Year Conference held last July 18-20, 2019 at the ASEAN Convention Center, Clark Global City, Pampanga.

This coming November 13-15, 20-19, the NUCESO will hold ifs 18th Annual CES Conference at the Rizal Park Hotel located along South Road Drive, T.M. Kalaw Extension, Ermita, Manila. The City Mayor of Manila, the Hon. Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso will welcome the participants. The Annual Conference Theme is : “Mabilis, Malinis na Serbisyo, Alay ng NUCESO sa Sambayanang Pilipino.” The Annual Conference will provide the participants with lectures on Foresight and Scenario Planning; Data-Driven Analytics for Decision-Making; Relevance of Arts and Culture in National Development; showcasing of Best Practices from both the government and the private sector, such as digital tour of the agile workplace of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., tour of the National Museum of Natural History and Betfer World Tondo (a Food Bank and Learning Center) recently launched by San Miguel Corporation Foundation in partnership with the local government of the City of Manila and Rise Against Hunger Philippines.

There will also be a launching, during the conference, of the Book of Profiles of NUCESO members and the Medical Assistance Program for NUCESO members.

It is in this regard, we are inviting you and the DOH Officials (from Undersecretary to Division Chief level) to attend and participate in this Conference. Participants will earn training units.
