We were hoping with all that publicity on Page 1 last week about the Lions’ missing ticket booth, it might turn up. It didn’t. And perhaps the reason is because the booth is a former authentic ticket booth from the Canadian National Exhibition. Regardless, the pancakes served by the Lions at Sheppard’s Bush were still good, despite the un-spring-like weather conditions. Fashion show

A fundraising dinner and fashion show, with proceeds to assist the fight against breast cancer, will be held in Aurora in two weeks. Slated for Jonathan’s Fine Foods restaurant, the event begins Monday, April 23, at 6 p.m. with cocktails. With some 750 youngsters and their parents, crowds swelled to more than 2,000 Saturday Dinner will be served at 6.30 p.m. and the fashion show will begin morning for Aurora’s annual Easter Egg hunt.
