Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is moving from its current location across from the mall to another Bellevue location just a few miles away. Peterson Construction has begun building the 6,300-square-foot Applebee’s at 8100 High- way 100 in the Shoppes on the Harpeth retail center at a cost of $1.5 million. The restaurant is scheduled to open between mid-November and Dec. 1. Applebee’s anticipates the move will result in much higher traffic at the restau- rant. “We’re just very excited to move and get a new location,” says Amanda Baugh, the res- taurant’s general manager. “This area with the mall closed, there’s not many people who want to eat over here.
