Election of Chair (and Vice-Chair) 19.05 The Panel will be requested to elect a Chair and Vice Chair for the Annual General Meeting and the ensuing year; 2021/22 3. Terms of Reference 19.10 To agree Terms of Reference, (circulated with the minutes) 4. Schedule of Meetings 19.15 The Panel will be asked to agree a schedule of meetings for 2021/22. Newquay Labour Market 19.20 Dan Jendrissek the Delivery & Analysis Specialist in the Strategy & Engagement team will give a brief presentation on some of the current challenges with regards to labour shortages 6. Newquay Safe 19.45 Zoe Wonnacott, Community Safety Officer will join us to give an overview of the work and priorities of Newquay Safe. 7. Community Network Highways Scheme 20.00 To receive an update. 8. Cornwall Council Update 20.10 An opportunity for Cornwall Councillors to update the panel regarding issues relevant to the whole (or a significant part) of the CNA e.g. to highlight issues raised in full Council, Overview and Scrutiny, etc. Anyone wishing to raise items is encouraged to advise the CLO or Chair in advance of the meeting. 9. Town & Parish Council Update 20.20 The chance for Town and Parish Council representatives, to raise issues of wider relevance to the CNA. COVID-19 in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Public Health Intelligence Team Public Health Intelligence Team 24 August 2021 The case numbers reported naonally (coronavirus.data.gov.uk) changed on 2 July 2020 which meant that all people who tested posive were included in the figures, irrespecve of where and how the tests were carried out. Whilst this provides an indicaon of the numbers with COVID-19, it does not include those in the community who have not been tested but may have/ have had COVID- 19. Public Health England (PHE) released detailed COVID-19 case data provided to us however; this included pillar two test data which, unl recently, was not reliable enough to use. In addion, PHE placed restricons on how and when the data was shared. We have worked with PHE to change the use of the data to allow us to share more detailed informaon with the public. The details in the report below have been released to build on the naonal data and help provide a more detailed picture of the COVID-19 posive cases and related deaths across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to date. Definion: Coronavirus tesng is organised through a system described as ‘pillars’. Pillar 1 data includes swab tesng in Public Health England (PHE) labs and NHS hospitals for those with a clinical need, and health and care workers. Pillar 2 data includes swab tesng by commercial providers; which includes the community mobile tesng units, care home tesng and home tesng kits.
