To achieve this we provided a detailed Energy review and targeted energy savings by employing effective operational procedures and an energy reduction action plan. The night energy base load was reduced by over 20% and similar reductions were achieved in catering, beer cellars and kiosks via staff engagement and plant performance improvement.

A strategy of low-cost energy improvement measures were implemented and these achieved savings with a payback of less than 18 months, these measures including staged lighting controls, performance metering, lighting controls and Building Management Systems alterations. Further significant water and energy savings have been identified and include the outline performance specification of solar PV generation and rain water harvesting.

Both Warrington Wolves and Maloney Associates are proud of the savings and reductions achieved and this has resulted in Warrington Wolves being an exemplary case study by the Rugby League.
